Another gig! I’ll be playing the first official zeal gig of the year next wednesday Thursday the 24th at 303 supporting Sydney’s Karoshi. The new audio visual set’s really coming together after last weeks trial run and it should be even better by next wednesday. I’m also scheming some evil live streaming schemes so all of you in internet land can check out the shiny new moving pictures and sounds… more gigs coming. and videos and things. oh, the unbearable intrigue. dig the facebook event P.S. I’ve revamped my facebook page! go like it, eh? My good friend Subsketch has started a podcast and this week it features me talking about all things Zeal thusfar. He’s done some tricky editing to make me say things i never really said… check it out Y’all! Oh yeah! Give me that podcast!

My album is ranked third on a whothehell.net ”list”. It’s the second time i’ve ever been on a list and it’s still fun. Last week my song “clouds” made a top songs of 2010 podcast on polaroids of androids. it was the first time i’d ever been on a list and it was fun. i played alot of shows this year, all of which had secret words, many of which i can’t remember. some were:
the best gigs of the year were hobart + music = yeah and the gate.
i also had a great time at this is not art where i sat on a panel and talked about axis. i got to make a mixtape sorta thing for a polaroids of androids podcast and inflict my taste in music on the masses. i put out an animated film clip for vigilante with midi and lights: i released my debut album and it landed album of the week on FBi.
it was also uploaded to a russian file-sharing website. it’s been a good year. onwards into a happy and productive twenty-eleven! bob.
I’m supporting Parallel Lions next Thursday, November 18 at the Builders Arms. This is a really exciting gig for me, Parallel Lions features Ollie from Art of Fighting who are high on my list of favourite bands ever. And actually, I stole some AoF lyrics and used them as a reoccurring theme in my last album. If you can figure out what that lyrical snippet is email me or leave a comment you’ll win a CD copy of my album. And I’ll be very impressed. Also, go listen to the Parallel Lions record ’cause it’s really great. Working on some new visual material at the moment too, hopefully will have the Zeal live A/V set up and running for next year. see you next thursday! :D :D :D New clip for Vigilante! mmmmm…. lights. The pretty colours are provided by a Novation Launchpad which is sequenced/animated in Ableton Live. This track and the rest of the album are still free. Go get it. UPDATE: Hobart + Music = Yeah! was officially awesome. I’ve come home wanting to play more house shows. I’ll throw up pics and video as they become available… like this one!
